an understanding of post-tensioning systems, post-tensioning design and analysis, key design concepts, code requirements and practical design tips will be discussed.
This seminar is designed for individuals with little or no experience in post-tensioning analysis and design, or anyone interested in learning more about post-tensioning analysis and design.
Highlights of the course include:
- Post-Tensioning Technology: Materials,
components, common systems and applications.
- Design & analysis: Key concepts such as load balancing, secondary moments, prestress losses, applicable code requirements and their impact on design.
- Applications: Project examples to illustrate various uses of post-tensioning in buildings.

This webinar is intended for individuals involved in the design of post-tensioned slabs-on-ground or anyone interested in post-tensioned slab-on-ground design.
Highlights of the course include:
- Geotechnical Investigation: Evaluating climate and site conditions, determining relevant soil parameters and soil-structure interaction.
- Structural Design: Design process overview, determining relevant design parameters and applicable code requirements and their impact on design.
- Application: Design examples to illustrate design concepts and the application of the PTI design method.

Webinar Policies
Registration
By registering for a webinar, you agree to comply with the policies stated herein and to: (a) provide true, accurate, and current and complete information as prompted; and (b) maintain and update such information to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or PTI has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, PTI may suspend or terminate your registration and/or decline to permit your future access to webinars.
A registration is defined as a single registration for a single individual subject to the policies as stated herein. A registration may not be shared or used by an individual for multiple people to view the webinar by using a projector, a large computer monitor, or multiple computer monitors. Use of a registration by multiple people is strictly prohibited.
Any individual that attends a webinar for any amount of time without a registration (verified by PTI) will be invoiced the full registration fee for the scheduled webinar and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer of registration as defined herein. Upon payment of the invoice, an individual who meets the Participation requirements stated herein may be eligible to receive a PDH certificate and PDF handout copy of the presentation.
Refund
PTI will refund registration fees if cancelled in advance of the webinar as follows: 100% of the fees will be refunded for requests made 3 days or more in advance of the webinar. No refunds will be issued for requests made less than 3 days in advance of the webinar.
Transfer
A registration can be transferred to another webinar of the same type within the same calendar year for requests made less than 3 days in advance of the webinar. No transfers will be issued for requests made on or after the day of the scheduled webinar. A registration cannot be transferred from one account to another or from one individual to another.
Cancellation
PTI reserves the right to cancel or reschedule webinars at any time, and in such case, will refund 100% of the registration fees or transfer registration to another webinar of same type within the same calendar year. If PTI cancels or reschedules a webinar in which you are enrolled, you will be contacted at the e-mail address you provided when registering.
Participation
Webinars must be completed in full at the scheduled time of the webinar. Registrants must attend the entire webinar (verified by PTI) to be eligible to receive the following:
- A professional development hours (PDHs) certificate from RCEP and/or AIA
- A PDF handout copy of the presentation
Each of the webinars is live and not offered in an on-demand format. PTI will not issue a refund, transfer of registration, PDH credits, or PDF presentation materials to any registrant that does not complete or attend the entire webinar at the time the scheduled webinar is delivered.
Copyright
Webinar material may not be reproduced or copied, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, including making copies by any photo process, or by electronic or mechanical device, printed, written, graphic, or oral, or recording for sound or visual reproduction for use in any knowledge or retrieval system or device, without the written consent of PTI. This material may not be used by data mining, robots, screen scraping, or similar data gathering and extraction tools such as artificial intelligence (“AI”) for purposes of developing or training a machine learning or AI model, conducting computer analysis, or creating derivatives of this material, without the written consent of PTI.
