Shipping and Handling
PTI offers free ground shipping for all of our publications shipped to the U.S. We also offer expedited shipping using UPS second-day or next-day services. These options may be selected during the checkout process. For other shipping options or for international delivery date, please call our office during business hours.
Orders placed today may not be processed until the next business day. If you require expedited service, please call (248) 848-3182.

Expedited Shipping
Faster shipping is available for additional fees. Please call our office to find out the shipping rate for your order.

International Orders
Please contact PTI to find out the shipping rate for international deliveries based on the weight of the order and the destination country. Payment must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Customs fees are the responsibility of the owner.

Return Policy
If your order is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we accept its return without question within 30 days of purchase. Returns shipped COD are not accepted. University bookstores and other resellers must receive authorization from PTI to return books in a resaleable condition. Authorized returns in resaleable condition are subject to a 15% restocking fee. PDF Publications are non-refundable.

Sales Tax
Sales tax in the amount of 6% of the sales total will be added to Michigan resident's orders.

Digital Publications
Most PTI publications are available in both printed hard-copy and digital formats. Digital editions are intended for use by single user only, and have been protected against unauthorized distribution using a proprietary Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology.  Digital editions are not automatically downloadable.  After the order is  processed by PTI, the document will be emailed to you.

DRM Copy Protection
Electronic versions of PTI publications are digitally protected by Safeguard Secure PDF Viewer by LockLizard. A Safeguard Secure PDF may be copied and shared; however, in order to view the file, a license must be purchased.

• A single-user license allows the files to be viewed only on the computer on which the license is activated (other computers on a network will not be able to view the files unless additional licenses are purchased.
• Optional 2nd installation license*: Users who would like to use the publication on a second computer (e.g. laptop or home computer) may purchase an optional second installation license for a small additional charge (20% of the purchase price).

*Note: The Optional 2nd installation license may only be purchased as part of the original order and is not available at a later date.

Printing
Two (2) print copies are allowed.**
**Note: The number of copies is related to the number of print jobs and not the number of pages a user prints, whether it be one page or the entire document.

System Requirements
To view the Safeguard Secure PDF file, a small (2.7 M) standalone viewer application must be installed on the user's computer. The viewer functions very similarly to Adobe Reader™, and works with the following operating systems: Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, XP, Vista, 7, Mac OSX 10.4, and above. For OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Apple's Rosetta needs to be installed on Intel-based Macs 64 MB application RAM.

For best viewing results, a color SVGA monitor running at 800 x 600 resolution (minimum) is recommended.

Use on Tablets and E-Readers
Safeguard Secure PDFs are currently NOT supported on any type of tablet device. Alternative digital formats compatible with most tablet devices are available upon request. Contact Michelle Stern at (248) 848-3180 for more information.
